Donation from AKA

Faces of Our Children receives donation from AKA's on MLK Birthday at New Sandy Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Keeling Va. Donna Waddell was presented the award by President Minister Gail Breakly.

Our Mission

Faces of Our Children provides scholarships to defray colleges expenses for children with sickle cell disease and financial assistance to families, including paying utility bills, rent and funeral expenses. We have partnered with Howard University Center for Sickle Cell Disease and the D.C. Department of Health to promote educational programs and sponsor blood drives and testing for the sickle cell trait.
